Boulder opal doublets are bezel set in 18K gold with a sterling silver back sheet. The 18K gold ear wire is integrated as one piece with the earring. There's a lot of nice blue/green flash in these beauties.
Measure: Just shy of 1" long x ~.5" wide x .25" thick.
